I'm running OSX 10.11.6 with a paid for Toolbox 3.5.0-2481 (latest Toolbox version does not work with El Capitan), but cannot download audio or video from YouTube. I get the message "Failed to get the audio/video. This service may not be supported". During a 7-day trial a while back, when Toolbox 3.5.0-2481 was the latest version, it worked fine. Any ideas why it won't work now?
Hello, It seems that library that is used to download audio and video became outdated. I will take a look what can we do.
I renewed my membership because I really like the tool. Now it affects may work. I just realized that YouTube is not the source of problem., so I lost a few days searching for other solutions.
Same problem. This worked a few days ago and now getting the same error message: "Failed to get the video. This video service may not be supported." I've checked for updates, tried different YouTube videos (all under 3 minutes long). Need this for work. Any help would be appreciated.
Hello, we released update for Download Audio and Video not long ago. Please open Parallels Toolbox -> press on cogwheel -> Check for updates. No updates will be found, it is ok - only internal library for Download Audio/Video tools will be updated. Then restart Download Video tool and try to download video again. If problems persists then generate technical report and post its ID here (https://kb.parallels.com/en/124107).
Just tried the fix suggested above, and it doesn't work. I get the following error message, "Failed to get the video. This video service may not be supported". I've submitted a technical report - ID 368168728 Has anyone had any luck with the above fix?
Any update on this issue? The 'fix' above does not work, and no response to my submitted technical report, above. I still cannot download video or audio from Youtube.
