When working with parallels in os x 10.5, some funny things can happen while using spaces. Example: Running Windows XP SP2 with Outlook 2007 in Space 3. Running iChat 4 in space 4. 1. Chatting it up in space 4. 2. Outlook receives email and notifies you via the stupid blue boxes at the bottom of the screen. 3. Spaces switches you to Space 3. 4. You click on the iChat icon, to go back to space 4. 5. Nothing happens. 6. You click Ctrl+(Right Arrow) to go from 3 to 4. -- Problem is, your computer THINKS you're on space 4, so it takes you to space 1. So yea, I thought it was spaces, but ever since I took outlook out of the picture, I haven't had a problem with any MAC app interrupting my work. Outlook is the only program on my VM that would do that, so I have no other windows app to test. BUT -- when other mac apps interrupt me, I can click the icon of the app I want and get right back to my space, so I have concluded that the problem rests with parallels.
