    The following was benchmarked using Sandra 2007. All tests run 3 times - best score shown

    Setup
    OS X 10.4.6 - no extraneous software running - all add ons disabled
    - Windows sharing disabled
    Windows XP SP2 - all extraneous services shutdown (e.g., auto updates)
    Parallels RC2
    - Parallels Shared network disabled

    Hardware:
    MacBook Pro 17 2.16Ghz, 2GB RAM (Apple), 100GB 7200rpm drive

    Is this with expanded hard drive or a plain hard drive?

    I made my expaned drive into a reg drive and now XP is far more snappy and boots wice as fast.

    Expanding, but I didn't run any drive tests. After defragmenting and compressing, the drive seems pretty fast - as fast as my other Wintel drives or faster.
