Hi, I am trying to connect a WinXP pro VM (in bridged network mode) to our University network, I have given the XP VM a static ip and all the settings DNS / WINS etc are correct for our network. The host an IMac 17" with latest Tiger OS and patches can ping the VM ip and the VM can ping the host OS ip, but I cannot ping the default gateway on the network. There are no firewalls or such in the way. It just seems to send packets, but cannot recieve any from outside. Windows XP reports it is connected etc, but no joy on the network or internet at all. Is there something I have missed? Cheers Mark
