Hello I have an iMac and I'm running Quickbooks Premium Contractor through Parallels 9. I have a Seagate 2T that is working with Time Machine. (forgive me this is my first iMac). My question is, will TM backup my quickbooks automatically or do I need to schedule backups through QB? I tried doing this and it's asking me for my windows password but tells me my password is wrong (don't remember setting any passwords with windows when i installed it yesterday). Thanks for your help.
Time machine will backup your entire vm or snapshot of it if you have that option selected, so your company file is being backed up. There is no harm in backing up your company file separately if you desire.
