Two days ago I purchased a bundle of software products offered by Parallels, through Cleverbridge, including Kaspersky Internet Security for Mac. I was given the following activation code in the email from Cleverbridge: SQRJJ-XBMF8-WC422-UN2FF. I was also told to use the following link for the instructions on how to download and activate the product: For installation and activation instructions please visit http://kb.parallels.com/en/123310. I did that, and successfully downloaded a one-month trial version. I have not, however, been able to use the activation code to transform the version into a "paid-for" version. The code given above is rejected as being for another product. The instructions said that on opening Kaspersky I should receive a screen which included on the right-hand side a sort of dial with a key symbol in the South-West quadrant. I am supposed to click on that to enter the code. But I don't get that screen, I get another one which looks like a usual homescreen for such a product. Can anyone tell me what I have done wrong? How do U get the screen that allows me to enter the activation code? I have 30 days left!! For information, I am running the latest version of Parallels with Windows 10 on my Macbook. The Kaspersky I downloaded following the instructions has gone into the Windows virtual machine, rather than into the El Capitan OS. Is that right? Thanks for all suggestions.
Hi JonS16.. I'm on the same boat as you and in the article it mentioned that I can use the menu from the parallel to install the software, which it does not exist on my parallel menu. Followed the same as you but same message wrong products. Anyone help please.
Dear AbbasH, I have just uninstalled my incorrect version of Kaspersky, and gone through the process again and this time it worked correctly, so I now have a 365-day licence. I have no idea what when wrong the first time.....
