parallels on mandriva 2007

    hi. Just installed parallels and i'm trying to install windows xp but the install stops at "installing network".. that sucks :( any help ??

    update.. it installs if i remove network from the virtual machine. Why ???

    It's probably getting stucked trying to get a DHCP offer. If you're directly connected, it's probably that your ISP allows only 1 IP for example.
    Until they implement NAT, you'll have to get a router for example. If that's the problem of course... it could always be a sour driver.

    Womandriva(lets not be affraid to promote equality here) 2007 is very new, so it is highly likely that something has changed since Mandriva 2006 that puts a spanner in the works for Parallels.

    found fix, you have to configure vnic0 and start it at boot, now it works.
