Am I the only one to be offended by this? Today I received an e-mail from Parallels offering a $20 discount on Parallels Desktop 3.0. The e-mail quotes a MacWorld review saying, "Parallels Desktop 3.0 is currently the best solution for running Windows, Linux, or any of many other operating systems alongside OS X." That review, however, is from July 17, 2007. In a September 27, 2007 review of VMWare Fusion 1.0, which had only been in beta release at the time of the earlier review, the same editor states, "Although it's a very close call between these two excellent virtualization programs, I currently prefer Fusion for its low impact on other OS X applications, support for multiple virtual CPUs, and huge library of virtual appliances."
