I use Parallels Desktop 3.0 build 5584 (freshly downloaded at Tech Support's direction on 2/14) I got this unpleasant message box, when Parallels had been long idle, not even the frontmost application: Clicking "Keep Trying" is no help, so I hit "Force Eject". Promptly crashed my Mac with the Dim Screen of Death ("You need to restart your Mac"). Upon rebooting the Mac, I tried Parallels again, got this message: So I tried rebooting into Windows directly. Works fine. Worked in it for a long time. Back to MacOS and Parallels. Windows boots to a black screen, no further progress. Try one more time. This time I am offered "Safe Mode" as an option, I take it. As a result, I can see the details of the booting process. It gets as far as and that's the end of that. Stuck. Help! This is the second such episode. The prior such episode I paid $29 for phone support and was instructed to uninstall, download the very latest secret bugfix version of 5584, and reinstall. Worked, for a while. But this is not workable! What can I do?
