I have a macbook with OSX Leopard and Parallels 3.0. I created a VM and installed Windows XP SP2 in it and the I installed Office 2007, antivirus, ecc. It worked perfectly for few months. Then all of a sudden I found that Parallels started at boot time automatically, even if I never set it to do so. It open up the VM and loads Windows XP, it even loads Word with an empty document. The worst thing is that if I try to close Parallels and I try to use the OSX the finder is frozen. I don't have the icons of my files on the desktop. I don't see the top control bar with the menu. The launchpad has al the icons frozen but the Preferences work. How can I stop Parallels to load at startup and get the control on finder back? Any suggestion would really appreciated. I cannot use my mac anymore... Thanks.
Start Parallels Desktop holding Command key, and in Configuration Editor-Configuration-Options - Booting - clear Start VM automatically when it is opened
