After install Apple's new Logic Studio, I can't open virtual machaine anymore.

When I want to start the old virtual machine which can run fine even after I upgrade Parallels into tne newest version, the program feed back with messge:

'Parallels Desktop failed to allocate the specified amount of memory. Please restart Parallels Desktop and try again.
To avoid this problem in the future choose from the menu: Paralles Desktop> Preference. On the Memory tab select the "Enable virtual memory preallocation" option. '

But, even I tried to set up the virutal memory preallocation option, the program still give me the same message.

I run Parallels under Macbook Pro 2.16 GHz, OSX 10.4.10 with 3GB RAM.
This problem just start after I installed Logic Studio lst night.

    All help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Is that possible due to the shortage of space in the HD?

Is that possible due to the shortage of space in the HD?
I mean, the HD which Parallels resides on, if the free space is less than the amount of memory the virual machine need to use.

I installed the Paralles on different partition other than the system one.
Now, after installation of Logic Studio, the free space of my Paralles partition is only couple of mega bytes.

Can anyone give me the answer?

Yes, it is due to the free size of HD which VM resides on is limited, maybe less than the Parallels need to use.
So, after removing the huge demo content of logic studio, my vm can be opened correctly.

I am wondering why Paralles don't use the space of system HD for virtual memory & others since I've got enough RAM in my hardware.

Probably deals with low space, try un-installing the app and seeing if that fixes it.
