Parallels drivers crash windows guest OS

I upgraded to Parallels 15. Then, as I started my Windows machine, parallels tools installation started automatically. As soon as it reached 60% the virtual machine froze. I waited for some time and the number reduced to 55%. Then I just reset the machine but the whole Parallels application became unresponsive. I killed the precess and restarted it. The machine seems to start normally, but again it started installing some parallels tools and crashed after about 60%. Again, I had to kill the process and restart. Then Parallels said I need to reboot the machine, which I did. Then the situation repeated. I changed Virtual Machine settings back to Parallels and then my machine is back again. But it did not install the parallels tools this time. What the heck is with these tools? Why do they crash the system? It seems that it works OK without them.
