Parallels Desktop totally buggy since Update

Hi there,

ever since I updated my Mac to 10.9 and my Parallels Desktop to 9 and my Windows to 8.1 I experience some major bugs. I was used to work in coherence modus. That worked perfectly. I could start, for example, a word document from the mac finder (using the right mouse button and then choosing from the drop down menu) with the MS Word version installed in parallels. The parallels word program then acted just as it was installed as a mac program (for example: open and close Word with a click on the task bar word-icon; use text that I cut in Mac Chrome with cmd+V in Word etc.). Now all is buggy and doesn't work smoothly anymore. It is actually a pain using - for example - word in coherence. It is not acting as it would be a normal mac based program. Its such a pain I start using Macs Pages (and that means something...). So is there anything that will fix these issues? Have others experience the same since updating?
