A few days ago, I migrated PDL to a new MacBook Pro from an older machine. Both the old machine and the new one are (and were) running High Sierra 10.13.4.

The migration was smooth, with the only exception of Parallels Desktop Lite. Whenever I launch the application, the icon bounces in the dock, and the menu bar changes for a few seconds to the Parallels menu bar, before abruptly quitting with no error message.

I've run Disk First Aid, have restarted, have deleted and reinstalled the application, and have contacted Parallels support. Earlier this evening, a gentleman from Parallels used Logmein123 to attempt to troubleshoot the issue remotely. He was unsuccessful and said that it would need to go to the next level of tech support. This may take several days depending on their backlog, so I was hoping to see if anyone on the forums had any sense of what is going on.

If you have your data backed up then the better way to resolve this issue is to wipe the Mac and reinstall all the applications which might help you in resolving the issue.
