I did the following late last night:
    1. bought Parallels 18 Pro without trial and no account
    2. got activation code in email
    3. downloaded dmg via link in same email
    4. launched Install Parallels Desktop
I did this while quite tired. I believe within the program it asked me to create a user account. Is that possible? Or was I doing this in a web browser? I don't remember. I created an account and there was some odd checkbox option related to privacy. I don't believe it was the Customer Experience Program. It was almost a white bar with blue text at the bottom of the Parallels screen. It had something to do with a third party, sharing information, advertising, etc. It seemed weird. Pretty sure I unticked the box. I was curious enough the next day to reinstall but didn't not get the same checkbox since all the related install info is strewn across the Mac.

From my poor memory and description a) has anyone seen this? b) anyone know what the checkbox would have been for? Image searches on the web lead nowhere. Could be a forever mystery.
