I'm running the latest version of Parallels and running my Bootcamp partition through it.

Anyway... The product has been working great. A few days ago, Parallels suddenly crashed. (It just quit) Things seemed to be working okay. I then decided to switch to my Bootcamp partition. It worked fine for a day or so, and then it started going nuts. Explorer.exe uses 100% of my CPU. Task manager does too. Explorer.exe quits randomly. Things like that...

The weird thing is that I can load Windows XP (Pro) up and use it just fine in Parallels.

    My question...

Did Parallels crash and remove some important system file that makes Bootcamp go crazy but doesn't affect Parallels?
    OR
Something else? I checked for viruses, spyware, etc... I only allocated 20 GB so I don't have much on there.

    Thank you.

EDIT: I switched to Bootcamp and I still had the same problem. I decided to close some random processes to see if anything was slowing my computer down. The first process I tried was IEXPLORE.exe (Internet Explorer). I closed that and everything was fine. =P)

Back-up your bookmarks and cookies, then re-install IE... While in that process, run some good anti-virus and anti-spyware software after the uninstall. It sounds like viruses to me, especially if it is just IE that causes the issue.
