I need P. Desktop Version 4.03844.409800 German at MacPro early 2009 (MacOS 10.5.7) with two same HDDs: Both = WDC WD6400AAKS-41H2B0 Media (same brand, same size) First one = disk0 includes 2 Partitions: a.) Macintosh HD = disk0s2 and b.) BOOTCAMP = disk0s3 Sec. one = disk1 includes 3 partitions: a.) MacHD2 = disk1s2; b.) 375GB = disk1s3 and c.) SystemAlt = disk1s4 Each time, when I have started with Bootcamp and at another time when I start the MacOS and try to use Parallels, Parallels tries to open the wrong partition at the second hdd (named 375GB = disk1s3) instead of Bootcamp partition at the first hdd = disk0s3 Because it cannot find the VM at this place, I get following message: "Trying to boot from Primary Master IDE drive ..." and then at German: Fehler beim Laden des Betriebssystems (error at loading the operating system) The only way out of this situation is to switching off. Following I had to delete the VM and create a new one. Then Parallels works with it properly.... I have delete VM and create it a good many times. What can I do, so that Parallels learn the right partition??
Does another user have the same configuration (MacPro with 2 identical hard disks)? If so, the described problem also appears there? What do mean the Admins? By this way: Please delete my twin thread!
