Dear all, I have only recently upgraded to version 4, and have been having problems with parallels compressor. I start Compressor in my Windows XP Home SP3 VM, and a window appears with a progress bar. Above the progress bar the text 'Disable Cryptographic Services' appears, and from then on the progress bar just sit there without showing any progress. Compressor has started tstsrvc.exe which is using more or less 100 % CPU, so something seems to be going on. I have left Compressor running over night but still no progress. Anybody seen anything similar and\or has any idea what is going on? I am on an iMac, 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo, 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, OSX 10.5.5. Wil P.S. Where has the Parallels Tools tray icon gone?
Probably it's caused disk errors, please launch Windows and run in cmd (Start -> Run -> type cmd) chkdsk /f /r If you mean Parallels Tools Center then there's no such tool in Parallels Desktop 4.0. Almost all features can be found in VM Configuration
