Good morning group. I just had a panicked call from a customer and he says when he started Parallels the rectangular box comes up but no buttons down the right side?

If this is common how do we fix this issue?

I have the customer downloading the newest version of Parallels and I am going to install it over his old version to see if we can get Parallels to come back to life?

Try Toolbar in the View menu.

    New problem:

Parallels Desktop is unable to operate properly since it cannot communicate with one of its drivers. Seems that drivers are inconsistent with the currently installed version of Parallels Desktop. To overcome this issue, reinstall Parallels Desktop and start it by selecting Finder->Applications->Parallels->Parallels.

Does this mean everything will be gone when I do this?

No, it means that you have to reboot your Mac after installing Parallels, and you have to remove and recreate any shortcut, alias, dock icon, etc. that you created.
