OK, I have BootCamp related question, but not one you might normally expect to get here...

I was wondering if I could install Parallels Desktop on my Mac and create a VM that I boot form my Mac, then when I am re-booted and running Windows natively using BootCamp, can I boot that same VM using Parallels Workstation for Windows? I am wanting to create a "pure virtual" environment, but I would like to be able to boot into it from Native MacOS, or Native Windows 7, but every time I try to search to see if this is possible, I can only seem to find people talking about booting a VM from their BootCamp partition, but that is not what I am looking to do.

Should I just give it up, or is this something that is possible? I know that it used to be possible with the biggest commercial competitor, but I prefer to use Parallels to their tool...
