    Why can't I play DVDs in Parallels?

    I would like to be able to watch DVD's in Parallels but no matter what Windows software I use, the DVD play is very jolty. Can someone please help me?

    Can't you watch the DVD's in mac instead? I don't see the point in trying to watch dvd's in a vm when you can do it in the host os.
