    Hi,

Ok I know CD-R and DVD-R is not slated for this release, but an issue has come up. If i have the VM open and i set focus to MAC (ie. click on Mac desktop and then insert a blank CD-R or DVD-R to record. it doesn't show up in Finder so I cant eject it or record to it. I have to shut down VM and then i see the dialog telling me that i have a blank cd in drive and then i can record or eject.

So here is the request, can you make it so that the VM knows it is a blank for recording and ignores
the CD drive to allow Mac to burn without closing VM.

    This is under RC1

TIA for any feed back on this

This is not necessary. Simply go to Devices > CD/DVD-ROM 1 > Disconnect and you'll immediately see a popup window asking you to choose what to do with the blank disc. This can be done when
want to access any type of disc, whether it's blank or not, you inserted from the Mac side without turning off the VM, AFAIK. This has been tested under RC1 and I think it was like this in beta6 as well.

    Hey Thanks for reply.

After i posted it, i realized that is what I needed to do.

Though it would be nice for it to just auto-leave-alone the burning section of CD, so wouldnt have remember to turn it off ;-)
