Parallels 8 maximum suggested memory usage

Okay. I upgraded from Parallels 6 to Parallels 8.

The Mac is OS 10.6.8 and has 4 GB of memory. Windows 7 32 bit installed.

In Parallels 6 the suggested max memory usage by parallels was 2 GB. Now after the upgrade to 8, the suggested max memory usage is 1.5 gb... Is this correct or is the upgrade incorrectly reading the amount of memory I have? Why would Parallels 6 allow 2 gb and Parallels 8 only suggest 1.5 gb? I know if I go above the recommended it will bog down my computer, so is there a reason for the reduction of suggested memory or is it a glitch in the upgrade?

Can this be fixed.
