Parallels 6 Mouse question

Hello,
using a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.6.4 I completed a installation of Parallels 6 (upgrading from 5). After doing this the mouse portion is no longer available under preferences. Where it used to say "keyboard & mouse" it just displays "keyboard" with no tic box for setting mouse preferences.

The mouse within a Win7 Pro VM does work, but with no right click properties

Any ideas? All other items seem to be extant and the VM behaves properly in all other features
