I upgraded to Parallels 6 last week (from V5) on my MacBook Pro. I've always used V5 in coherence mode previously, but now cannot.

It seems like mouse clicks are not responding. If I'm in Window mode everything is fine. But when I switch to coherence Windows does not recognise mouse clicks.

For example, if I click the start menu, it opens, but as I move my mouse up and down the menu there is no highlight and I cannot click an option.

If I switch back to Window mode, start a program, then switch back to coherence, the opened application does not respond to a mouse click. However, I can move the 'focus' between buttons etc in the application using the arrow keys, showing that the application is receiving instruction - I just can't click the the mouse.

I've reinstalled Parallels Tools because that often is recommended, and restarted Windows. I have Crystal mode turned off.

    Thanks.

This is happening to me as well...

The mouse will work for a while, and then stop.

Switching out of Coherence and then back in fixes the problem.

    Is this a known issue?

My issue was solved by using Add Programs to uninstall Parallel Tools before installing them again.

Parallels now will change to Coherence mode without trouble.
