I have XP Pro licenses available from my Microsoft Action Pack ... and it was running just great on my Mac Book Pro running Leopard and Parallels 5160 ... I bought another new iMac and tried to perform a "new" install of XP Pro under Parallels 5160 and Leopard with the Action Pack XP Pro CD's and it just won't happen for me .. I get STOP errors in the middle of the install and it's completely unstable .... I can get Vista Business from a later Action Pack installed but XP Pro is a no go! I am wondering if perhaps it's a Service Pack issue or something else ... Anyone else experienced this?? I tried two different Action Pack XP Pro CD's and it's the same result so I have a hard time believing the CD's have suddenly gone bad ... Any ideas anyone?
Hello, it's mentioned on the Microsoft website that product Activation works by confirming that the software's product key has not been used on more PCs than allowed by the software's license. Activations on the same PC using the same product key are unlimited. So it may be just one PC you can install this soft. Is there anything abot it in the software's license paper? Best regards, Alicia.
