Parallels install script freezes during install of 5160 on Leopard (see log below). I previously had Parallels installed in boot camp and was trying to install upgrade. When the install stops responding I notice that I also loose my wifi connection and can't reconnect without Force Quit on Installer and re-boot Osx. I've tried to uninstall and clear out parallels folders as suggested. I've run Disk Utility to Repair Permissions, I've also ensured that Internet sharing is tuned off before I start, i've also tried the sudo ./preflight workaround suggested elsewhere - I'm no further forward - although the installer seems to freeze, Activity monitor says that it is still running. Any suggestions?

    Hello,

could you please run the solution using Terminal again? To make sure.
You have to run commands right after the installer freezes.
    Here are they:
    cd Volumes/Parallels\ Desktop/Install\ Parallels\ Desktop.pkg/Contents/Resources/
    and then
    sudo ./preflight

If it still doesn't help, please, send me an output of these commands from the Terminal.

    Best regards,
    Alicia.
