Parallels 5 won't boot Vista

    I am on MacOS ver 10.5.8

    When starting Parallels 5 I get a black screen with error:

    Parallels(r) VGA-Compatible BIOS Version 3.0.2111.89721

    All rights reserved.

    1024 MB physical memory installed.
    Network bootrom is installed.
    Trying to boot from Primary Master IDE drive ...

    A disk read error occurred
    Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

    I press Ctrl+Alt+Del and nothing happens

    Any help out there?

    Paralles 5 won't boot Vista

    Have you had any luck because have the same problems after trying to upgrade the RAM on my computer. I use XP and Parallels 5

    Nope

    I haven't solved this problem.
    I am going to see if I can reinstall vista (the version of os I have) if that doesn't work I am going to contact tech support.
