Parallels 5 will not turn on at all!

    I tried to open Parallels 5 today, and it would not turn on.
    If I right click it, the first item in the context menu that appears is "Application is not responding".

    I'm running SL 10.6.2, is there any reason this is not working? it's even stopped bouncing in the dock it's taking that long!
