Since upgrading to Parallels 5 I've had problems when shutting down a Windows XP VM. I have eventually discovered that it was the serial port connection that wasn't disconnecting and causing the VM to hang. So far the only solution I have found is to disconnect the serial port before shutting down the VM. Does anyone have any solutions for this problem?
