Hi, From parallels 3, i upgraded to version 4. During installation, i successfully completed the VM conversion and updated the parallels tools package. However, since i have had many problems with multiple aspects of the VM. Firstly, i have shared networking which is gaining me access to the shared file, however i cannot access the internet on windows. As well as this, every time i restart the VM, i get different resolutions and windows always comes up with the message to automatically correct the resolution. Moreover, i am also unable to use coherence or full screen as nothing happens when i select these options. I have attempted to reinstall parallels tools but haven't had any success. I am running Mac OS 10.5.5 on my Macbook with 2.4 Ghz C2D, 2GB Ram with Parallels 4.0.3810. If anyone could offer any advice it would be greatly appreciated.
Try following: 1, Disable uninstall antivirus, check internet connection 2. Check that Windows OS type is selected Windows XP 3. Uninstall parallels Tools, restart, do not install Tools or any other devices 4. in Device manager delete devices with exclamation marks 5. Do not restart, install Parallels Tools
