I have a mac mini that has a Intel Core Solo processor in it that I have been using Parallels 3.0 on with no problems, I tried upgrading to 4.0 and for the life of me I cant get 4.0 to boot a VM. Even if I try to make a new virtual a machine, as soon as i go through the initial setup of making a new virtual machine, it just freezes at the screen that I have attached.

Any ideas? I know that the configuration is correct as far as mapping my drive to the virtual machine, and 3.0 runs fine and I even downloaded a trial of Fusion and had no problems setting that up, The only thing I can come up with is 4.0 isn't compatible with Core Solo processor?

Please provide me screenshot of CPU node, while in VM configuration, it seems to me a bug in earlier Mac Minis when Vtx is disabled, you can search this forum for workaround or contact Apple Store

    Yes, it is ,
As you can see virtualization is disabled,
Unfortunately, there is a little I can suggest you but searching for forum, how to avoid bug in Mini's firmware, or contact Apple Store, Virtualization presents in CPU, but is disabled in firmware
