I have a 2019 Macbook pro with 2.6hz processor, 16gb ram, and the 4gb radeon graphics card, and have been using parallels to run windows 10 so that I can play games (especially Fallout 4).

Parallels 18 does this superbly, but I recently "upgraded" to parallels 20 and its awful. The shadows are all messed up (lots of harsh angles and bizarre shading), dazzling hazy sun shines through walls and rooves, and the frame rate plummets. Tried many fiddles to fix it and nothing worked so I have reverted to parallels 18 and that solves all the problems.

Moral of the story; if it aint broke don't fix it. For older macs, stick with Ventura and Parallels 18 for peak performance.

@LeeP10 i have exactly the same issue. I have old 2020 Macbook running PD 18 and it was all fine. but today i updated to PD 20 and the graphics are messed up (American Trucker S). I guess i have to revery back to PD 18. it is a shame that a product which costs so much ends up being crap.

Your email asks me to reproduce the issue, so that I can film it, but I have no intention of doing that.

I've already given the data that you need (the computer that I use, and the game that it happened with, Fallout 4). I'm not screwing up my setup again just to film it. If you have a MBP with the same setup, you should be able to reproduce the problem at base.
