Same issue here. I was planning to move from VMWare to Parallels based on the documentation - support of converting .vmdk's to Parallels VM's. I'm now stuck with the same issue reported in this thread, unable to convert with all the same symptoms reported. Tried several Debian, Fedora and Ubuntu VM's. Parallels: Version 17.1.0 (51516) MacOS: 12.0.1 (21A559)
This problem still exists Parallels Desktop Pro for Mac Version 18.0.0 (53049) Input vmdk files from a VMWare export of Debian OS machines. What gives?
