I have an Ubuntu Guest install on OSX that has been working correctly for several years. After the most recent ubuntu update, I suddenly started having the dreaded 'login loop' problem. I was able to get around that by uninstalling guest tools and disabling 3D acceleration, but now I can't get the tools to reinstall. I have tried all the recommended steps for installing and nothing works. Even our IT department seems to be at a loss. Please help with this, I need this guest box for a project that naturally needs work just when the gremlins show up My environment: Host OS: Mac OS 10.13.6 Guest OS: Ubuntu 16.04 Parallel Desktop Version: 12.2.1 for mac Parallels Tools Version: 3.1.1
