Hi, Im trying to get parallel tools to use my boot camp partition so i dont have to install another copy of windows. i have the latest version and i know this is an option. what iv done so far is :

    1. start up parallel tools and gone through the setup wizard choosing custom and then choosing "use boot camp".
    2. I then tried booting into it via parallels but got a message saying "unable to open disc image Boot Camp". so i then found out i needed to have installed the parallel tools in xp.
    3. so next i booted into windows bootcamp partition and got some error message about parallel tools as soon as i logged in. i ignored this and then went and dlded the parallel tools .exe. however near the end of the installation i got an error mesage saying "error code 1" which meant i couldnt install the tools properly. iv tried resintalling the .exe counltess times but always get the same message.

basically what am i doing wrong ? would the fact im using a corporate version of windows [with SP2] be causing this ? whats the correct process to get this working ?

    thanks in advance
