upgraded P3 to v3638. when starting wm, it asks that parallel tool need to be upgraded to. as it is upgrading, it asks for a 'scan' file (please insert a disk with a 'Scan' file). where can i find this 'scan' file? thanx
Hello doboy, Please follow these steps as the Anti- Virus and the firewall are turned off. 1) Start the Windows OS > Go to Control Panel > Go to Add or Remove programs > Remove Parallels tools completely. If there is no Parallels tool in this list then skip to step 3. 2) Restart the Windows. 3) Open Finder > Mac HD > Library > Parallels > Tools > prl_tools_win.iso > Copy the " Setup.EXE " to a USB Flash drive. 4) Open Windows Operating System > go to My Computer > USB Flash drive > Double click on the " Setup.EXE " and allow it to install. 5) After the complete installation of Parallels tools. Please verify if you get this message " Parallels Tools has been install successfully ". Please email us back the status of the issue.
