When shutting down Windows 7 it began to run an update. It never proceeded and is just stuck on the update screen. Not sure how to get back to the last configuration that worked.
I think you have posted at the wrong forum.. this is for MacOSX Guest OS. Having said that, it sounds like a windows update error, you might be able to go back to a previous Snapshot (before the update) if you keep them that long.
