When you insert an OS X supported Wireless WAN card (I have the Verizon V640) into your system for the first time, MAKE SURE you either have USB automount disabled on all of the VMs you have running, or pause/suspend/stop your VMs. The issue is that Parallels is so quick at laying claim to new devices that OS X won't have the opportunity to install it. I've found that OS X is failr unforgiving if you don't get the install of the WWAN card right the first time, and you have to do a lot of manual cleanup if it doesn't go correctly. Essentially what happens is, you won't get the signal meter and connection options at the top in the Finder, which are critical to be able to do your roaming updates. Anyone else have these experiences?
