Parallels Workstation 2.0, released in 2005, did not support PAE and NX at all, requiring both to be disabled to run it. Parallels Workstation 2.1 half-supported PAE and NX, with the requirements that the physical address space be limited to 4 GB (which is done by default if PAE is not explicitly enabled) if NoExecute is set to OptOut, it had to be in the DEP exception list or otherwise Windows would blue screen. Any plans to fix these limitations?
Parallels Workstation, BTW, warns if most of these limitations are violated and prompts you to create a boot menu entry in boot.ini that meets the limitations.
