Environment: Mac host, ubuntu 12.04/12.10 guest. Using AVR toolchain to develop software for embedded AVR systems.

Application Avrdude with libusb-1.04 can no longer read and write to the target device after upgrade to P8. Reverting to P7 and we have working systems again. (connection time out errors)

We'll be moving to VMW 5 to get ubuntu 12.10 support and working usb.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Please, enable verbose logging in PD (Parallels Desktop->Preferences->Advanced->Use detailed log messages).
Then connect your usb device to vm, reproduce bug, create and send problem report (Help->Report a Problem).
    Post report id here.

Sorry, we would have to reinstall P8 and recreate the VM. We have already spent the better part of a day isolating the problem, to our satisfaction, and we have a working solution in VMW 5. I can't justify spending any more time on this.

Our refund for P8 has already been processed, thanks for the quick work, so our license is no longer valid.
