Situation: I have a dual monitor setup on my mac with P6. I use workspaces within my mac (OS Lion). Therefor, within each workspace, I have 2 screens (L/R) that i may have different windows than say the windows I have in my second workspace. I used to keep P6 on full screen in my second workspace, right screen. I would then have other programs open on the left screen in that workspace. I would also be able to then go to a different workspace and have 2 brand new desktops to put more screens. Problem: In P7, full screen now does the OS Lion "style" full screen just as all the other applications can do. (example, safari). When I make P7 full screen now, It fills my R monitor as I want to, but then make my L monitor the grey empty space of the full screen area. I can do nothing with this space. I tried making the window of P7 just large enough so it LOOKs like its full screen (that solved the problem of not being able to have something else opened on my L screen within the workspace), however when i change workspaces, P7 jumps to the new workspace so its ALWAYS on my R screen now. The last sentence also happens when I do Coherence mode. Tech support was as helpful as me asking this in Latin. They knew nothing. I spent over 2 hours with them. Help?!!? Thanks, David
I did this... A major part of the issue is that Lion hoses multiple monitor support on everything. you may try this Quote: Originally Posted by vasilyz There is a workaround to enable old-style full screen mode. That solves the full screen take over issue on multi monitors, however it still does not help with the issue of P7 migrating to every single workspace I have on my mac. ALl my Right monitor's workspaces are useless because P7 doesn't stay in the single workspace, it jumps to the current one I'm in. Ugh..
