I'm running Parallels Desktop 4.0 on a MacBook Pro 17", with OS X Leopard. I have one guest OS set up with Windows XP Pro, and I have no problem with that. I'm now trying to set up Ubuntu 9.04. I know that there are a lot of incompatibilities in this version, but the problem I'm having shouldn't be one of them. I'm running Ubuntu in Window mode. The problem is that the Ubuntu desktop is way too big to display, so there are bottom and right-side scroll bars. Does anyone know how to resize the desktop so there are no scroll bars? Since Parallels Tools are not compatible with Ubuntu 9.04, having to scroll around in the window and switching the focus between the guest OS and Parallels is a real pain. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to fix this.
