I've got a VM running windows vista with Office 2007 installed. My issue is that Outlook auto starts whenever i fire up the VM. It doesn't appear in the start-up programs files, i can't find it anywhere in the operating system settings or in the VM configuration settings. Any ideas on how i can shut this off?
Hello, Please follow the steps below in regards to the issue: (1) Start --> run --> msconfig. (2) Select the startup tab. (3) Uncheck the programs in the startup menu that you do not want starting with your computer. In this case please select Microsoft Outlook. Before unchecking anything, use processlibrary to determine the importance of the process. Disabling an essential process will mess up your computer. (4) When you're finished, click OK and allow your computer to restart. (5) After restart, a window will pop-up alerting you to changes to your system configuration. Check the box that tells Windows to stop asking and click OK. Please let me know if it worked or not. Thank You. ---------------- Anupama Parallels Team
