When defining a new VM, you have to pick a guest OS and version. What does Parallels do when I select a different Linux version in the list? Does it change the way Parallels presents the machine? If so, what does it change? wayne
There are some specific optimizations and fixes for particular OS types, but in general all should work fine even with generic "Other Linux" OS type. But if it possible better to choose most close OS type to your particular distro.
