I am mainly running XP under PD.

Are there any tips for maximizing the speed to resume from suspended?

Like increasing/reducing memory? NOT compressing the virtual disk? Anything?

    Thanks!

Most of time actually of suspend/resume operations using for memory snapshotting/restoring. So reducing of memory for VM can be a deal. But you can have negative effects in Win XP work itself - it can became slower.
