openSUSE 10.2 install

    I am not able to install Linux openSUSE 10.2. I have downloaded the install from the site and burned it to a DVD, but once I create a virtual machine for Linux in Parallels it fails to boot. I have tried booting from the image as well, but the finder won't recognize any of the files.

    This is just a wild guess, but is your host os on an apple computer?

    Yes, I am running Mac OS 10.4.9 on an Intel Core2 Duo iMac, using the latest update of Parallels Desktop for Mac. Sorry I wasn't more specific.
