Opening Files from Mail takes way too long

I am running Parallels on an M3 Max MBP. Recently, when I open a file from either the Apple Mail app or the Mac Outlook app, it takes a very long time for the file to load. I just did the most recent update this week and it does not seem to help at all. I have all the drives shared between Mac and Windows so there is no issue accessing files it's just that opening any file from either Mac mail app takes a painful amount of time.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
