Open PDF attachements in Windows Outlook with Adobe Reader in OS X

    I'm running Parallels 10 with Mavericks and Windows 7 and Outlook 2010.
    I would like to open PDF attachments in my email with the Mac side Adobe Reader.
    When I try to select the Mac application for Reader, I get a folder and cant find an "Application file" that windows will accept in order to use it as the default.
    Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Hi JonEpner,
    Please follow the steps below to enable Shared Applications Tool & check how it works :
    1. Open virtual machine window (Do not click Start).
    2. Open virtual machine configuration http://kb.parallels.com/117287 > switch to Options tab > Applications.
    3. Tick Share Windows applications with Mac and/or Share Mac applications with Windows.
    If you still have the same issue after enabling Shared Applications, please (re)install Parallels Tools as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/4841 and check how it goes.
