I can't figure out why one VM became extremely unresponsive after the update from 12.2.0 to 12.2.1, a minor update. I have one Windows 10 VM that started as Windows 7 that I've used for years and now just starting it takes easily 5x as long as it used to. It won't even register Control-Alt-Delete for a while, that's how bad it is. I'm pretty sure it's not based on Windows itself at this point, I've tried doing all sorts of things that should help with Windows, but this slowness is happening even before Windows is really started.

I have another Windows 10 VM which I rarely use, but have it for games. That one isn't affected, it still boots up at normal speed and seems responsive.

I have even pulled a copy (I make regular backups) that I had from before the upgrade, and found it is still slow. I have noticed that some things seem to carry over between .PVMs, is there some other file that holds some of the settings? (I had turned on view Hidden in Windows Explorer at one point, then after I shut down the VM and copied in the old VM, that setting was still set somehow)

I don't know what else I can try, this VM is used for work and is part of a Domain, so I can't just easily rebuild it. I have disabled Trim at one suggestions I found, so it's not that. I have the latest version of Parallels Pro

Turns out, LeeM8's solution with deleting Time Machine Snapshots fixed this :)
